Shannon Toma

As Chief Operating Officer at MRIGlobal, Shannon Toma leads enterprise operations, partnering across the organization to strengthen execution, improve operational effectiveness, and support the organization’s continued growth impact in global health and national security.

Shannon Toma is an accomplished executive leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing mission-driven research organizations and complex enterprises through operational transformation, growth, and strategic execution.

Prior to joining MRIGlobal, Toma served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer at Lovelace Biomedical Research Institute, where she provided enterprise leadership across operations, finance, infrastructure, capital planning, human resources, information technology, compliance, safety, quality assurance, contracts and legal.

Toma brings extensive experience leading mission-driven organizations through periods of growth and change.  Known for building collaborative teams and connecting strategy with execution, she is passionate about creating environments where scientists, engineers, technical experts, and operational teams can work together to solve complex challenges and deliver meaningful impact.

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family, reading and learning to paint.
